In accordance with the Kyoto City Accommodation Tax , our hotel collects accommodation tax as stipulated by the Kyoto city.
Please be advised that due to a revision of the Kyoto City accommodation tax rates, the applicable tax rates will change for stays on or after March 1, 2026.

Kindly refer to the table below for details of the revised tax rates.

Accommodation Charge (per person, per night) from March 1, 2026
Less than JPY 6,000 : JPY 200
JPY 6,000 – under JPY 20,000 : JPY 400
JPY 20,000 – under JPY 50,000 : JPY 1,000
JPY 50,000 – under JPY 100,000 : JPY 4,000
JPY 100,000 and above : JPY 10,000

The accommodation charge subject to the tax refers to the room rate only, excluding meal charges and other incidental fees. 
Service charges are included; consumption tax is excluded.

Please note that the revised tax rate will apply to all stays on or after March 1, 2026, regardless of the date of reservation or method of payment.
